I offer musical presentations and performances in schools and community center settings designed to engage with youth that might not otherwise “find” music and experience the enrichment that it can bring to their lives. The performances are intended to be interactive, and encourage participants to experience feelings of success creating their music, quickly.
I also offer 1:1 and group music lessons that focus on using MIDI controllers and other modern musical instruments and tools to offer learners a fun, accessible and interactive learning experience. Please reach out if you would like to book lessons for yourself or a child.
Rather than introducing participants to traditional musical instruments such as guitar or piano, I use the latest cutting edge MIDI pad controllers that offer low barriers to entry and are fun and engaging right from the get-go. This helps to remove friction that some may feel that they are “not good enough” to get started, or that music is just “not for them.”
People often feel music is complicated to make. I enable participants to experience feelings of success creating their music, quickly.
Each person’s stream projects that success, in a way that encourages positive feedback from the people they care about.
