2015 – Here We Go Again!

Another year is well on its way, and its time to chime in about what is up with my music.

As some of you may recall, I was a last minute no-show at the Christmas Party last year. Nothing tragic to report, but I was certainly a little more than burnt out and over extended by the end of last year. Turns out that record making can take its toll. We started sessions with Murray Lightburn at Studio Frisson last November and everything is coming along just fine. This record is kicking my ass in a good way, and I hope it will be my best one yet. I guess it will have to be ready by May because at that point I’m going out on tour in Ontario, in support of the Brace for Impact E.P. I’m going out by myself to present my new one man show.

Pre-Tour Shows!

I will get tour dates posted up on Facebook once confirmations start coming in. For now, we have some very exciting pre-tour warm up shows on the horizon, as well as some very special invitation-only showcases in unique Montreal venues. Don’t worry: provided you are signed up as a fan you will get invites to these things delivered right to your inbox.

Here are the shows so far….

February 11th Bistro de Paris with Yellow Jacket Avenger:

Its my distinct pleasure to get to share the stage again with one of my old friends, Geoff Pye. During a formative period in my musical life Geoff showed me how much mystery, wonder and melody could be packed into a 3 min “folk” song. He still does it better than most.

This is happening as part of YJA’s ongoing residency at Bistro de Paris.

March 20th Cagibi with TBA:

Open to the general public

April 26th Seratone Studios, Invite-Only Event

This will be a special invitation only event where I will be premiering my new one man show for the first time ever. It’s being hosted by Seratone Studios in rapidly gentrifying Griffintown, Montreal. Cheap beers, mix drinks, a cozy fireplace, celebrity DJs, and other guests will make this a unique, “not-to-be-missed” musical event.
